Transport model for the Master Plan of Roads and Master Plan of the Bus network of Saudi Arabia

Client: Advanced Logistics Group SA (ALG)

Partners: None

We built a macroscopic model for road and public transport simulations in Visum within the framework of the Master Plan of Roads and Public Transport. By doing it, we simulated future growth scenarios of the socioeconomic variables of the country and of mobility, as well as planned infrastructure investments.

Croatian National Transport Macro-simulation Model

Client: EY Croatia, Ministry of transportation of Croatia

Partners: None

We updated the National Transport Model of Croatia which was developed in 2016 as part of the Croatian Transport Development Strategy. This model is a really effective tool to reproduce the traffic’s behaviour of the transportation system in a current situation and to predict system performance.

Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan of Blumenau, Santa Caterina, Brazil 2017

SIMCAT – Forecast Model for the Transport System of Catalonia, 2012

Client: Regional Government of Catalonia

SIMCAT (System and Modelization for the Evaluation of Territorial Policies of Catalonia) is an integrated solution for transport planning and decision making support based on Intergraph Geomedia. SIMCAT is the sub-system for modelling and scenario simulation of mobility. SIMCAT includes a model for forecasting demand for mobility and traffic that allows to develop future travel matrices (models of generation, distribution and modal share) and then to obtain traffic on the road network (traffic assignment model), being also in charge of calculating consumption and emissions associated with the use of private cars needed for the evaluation of environmental impacts caused by the implementation of new road infrastructure and major urban projects. SIMCAT also provides time matrices at rush hours.

Impact assessment on the mobility and emissions of the PMMU, Barcelona, 2019

Client: IERMB, City Hall of Barcelona

Development of a comprehensive model for assessing the impacts on mobility and emissions of proposals from the Metropolitan Urban Mobility Plan of the AMB, so that these impacts can be evaluated in a territorial manner and, therefore, localize the effects in the territory.

Traffic model and evaluation of current and future scenarios, Barcelona, 2017

Client: Barcelona City Hall

Partners: Count Transport

The objective of the project is to update the travel matrix available in the Barcelona traffic model based on the analysis of the available information and the realization of field work corresponding to traffic assessments and origin / destination surveys. Calibration of the network model and analysis of current traffic and accident rate and incidents in the Rounds of Barcelona.
