Development of strategic and sustainable transport and logistics infrastructure plan

We aimed to provide specialized technical services to improve the Government’s Road Concessions Program (PROCROFE) by building a strategic plan for the Program within 18 months. The plan should consider governance and management tools that facilitate the determination of measurable guidelines, objectives and targets, as well as the development of performance targets, allowing greater transparency for implementation, monitoring and evaluation of PROCROFE and the implementation of a risk management system.


Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) for the City of Zadar

We developed a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP) for Zadar, a strategic plan designed to satisfy the mobility needs of people and businesses in cities and their surroundings for a better quality of life. SUMP aims to create a better urban transport system by improving safety, security, and sustainability, reducing air and noise pollution and enhancing the attractiveness and quality of the urban environment and urban design for the benefits of citizens, the economy and society as a whole. This plan also involves types of traffic that have less impact on the environment, use sustainable energy sources, which are more energy-efficient and increase citizens quality of life. 

We developed SUMP through research and data gathering processes, by defining goals and measures for their achievement, and by interacting with key stakeholders.

Croatian National Transport Macro-simulation Model

We updated the National Transport Model of Croatia which was developed in 2016 as part of the Croatian Transport Development Strategy. This model is a really effective tool to reproduce the traffic’s behaviour of the transportation system in a current situation and to predict system performance. 

Catalonia Bicycle Strategy 2025

We provided technical assistance to support and follow up on different tasks carried out by the Directorate for Mobility Infrastructures (DGIM), in relation to the development of the Catalan Bicycle Strategy 2025 (ECB 2025).

Preparation of Disaster Risk Management Project for the SJL Urban Cable Car Project in Lima, Peru

We addressed issues related to the preparation of Disaster Risk Management (DRM) for the cable car, Non-Motorized Transport (NMT) and pedestrian infrastructure projects in the municipalities of San Juan de Lurigancho and La Independencia.

The main objectives were to report on international cable car good resilience practices in vulnerable areas (implementation and operation stages), develop a guideline for geophysical risk assessment for urban transport (especially the cable car project) and prepare emergency response and safety plan guidelines for public transport infrastructure in northern municipalities.

REBALANCE: New Mobility Cultures & Policies

REBALANCE brings together different voices, visionary thinkers from humanistic fields, mobility experts, stakeholders and European policy decision-makers, to create a fruitful knowledge-sharing hub to discuss future mobility policies.

As a cultural and political initiative, the REBALANCE overall aim is to conduct an open deliberative forward-looking exercise towards a transformative transport policy strategy in favour of a paradigm shift in mobility, pushing for the more effective adoption of cultural and social values not yet fully considered, better aligned with SDGs and mounting concerns about climate change. The critical review of the present also in the light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic which drastically affected our lifestyles, the vision over the future and the roadmap to achieve it, will be embedded in a Manifesto with the aim to stimulate European policymakers to adopt concrete legal and political measures while moving the wider European communities towards a radical change.

Online GIS on the Accessibility to Public Transport in the Province of Barcelona

This web viewer evaluates the accessibility of public transport within the scope of the integrated fare system of the demarcation of Barcelona, ​​using the calculation made by Mcrit.
The online GIS considers access to the public transport system (bus, metro, tram, FGC and Cercanías) as a combination of ways to access it (foot, bicycle and private vehicle, in the case of park and rides).

Logistics Strategy for the Internationalization of the Catalan Economy

The Generalitat de Catalunya, through the company Cimalsa, has commissioned the temporary union of companies constituted by Deloitte and Mcrit the technical consulting service for the elaboration of the logistics strategy as a tool for the internationalization of the economy of Catalonia.

The development of a logistic framework program until 2040 is included in the Cimalsa 2019-2025 strategic plan, which expressly states the need to prepare “a document that includes the Logistics Strategy of Catalonia that integrates the strategic planning of the different public and private actors, to create a model that allows the necessary consolidation of the Catalan logistics system.
