Founded in 1988 by a team of engineers from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia – Barcelona Tech, MCrit is an independent engineering firm specialized in infrastructure planning, created from a shared ambition: to translate rigorous policy assessment into real-world impact. Our name, MCrit, stands for “Multicriteria”: a decision-making approach that blends both quantitative and qualitative assessments across multiple criteria. For over three decades, MCrit has been at the forefront of innovation in mobility, transport, and urban and regional planning, having successfully completed over thousands of projects worldwide.
